MORNING BREAK WITH JENNY BROUGHTON April 17th, First United Methodist Church

Jenny Broughton, a pastor's wife and nationally known speaker from Oklahoma City, will be speaking April 17th, 9:00 a.m.-noon, at The First United Methodist Church of Marlow.  No matter how you look at life, Jenny Broughton has the tale to make you laugh. A gifted story teller, her humorous outlook on the most everyday matters provide insight and inspiration.  A teacher by profession, Jenny combines her personal and professional experiences to speak on child advocacy issues before education, business, human service and faith-based organizations all across the country. Through both tears and laughter, the very heart of her ministry carries a message of faith, hope and healing.

Often compared to humorist Erma Bombeck, Jenny takes to the speaking stage with warmth, wit, and wisdom, leaving her audiences ever-changed by her powerful and compelling story. Revealing the innermost thoughts and feelings of a lost and forsaken child, Jenny shares how she discovered over time that love and devotion resides within the hearts of perfect strangers. Now she will challenge you to make a difference in the life of a chid.

Come join Jenny for a "Morning Break" on April 17th, hosted by the First United Methodist Church of Marlow.  You will laugh and learn from her topic, Taste and See that the Lord is Good, from Psalm 34:8.  There will be a lot of door prizes, music, and love to go around.  Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a light breakfast.  Tickets are $5.00.  For more information, please call the church at 658-2765.
